Working with us on site, Authentic Straw Bale Construction Ltd retains a team of very qualified and highly skilled trades people.
Bruce has 36 years experience within
the construction industry, initially building houses using
traditional construction techniques. specialising in straw
bale and alternative construction methods for the last 14
years.
Diversifying into light commercial and farm buildings, restaurant fit-outs and many other custom fabrications (including the Muddy Waters Winery in North Canterbury), has given Authentic Straw Bale Construction Ltd the experience to realise clients visions and expectations.
Supporting a construction team boasting a combined experience of over 100 years, our draughtsman and engineer have built up a standard design concept, resulting in a more efficient service.
We use specialised techniques, such as advanced cavity drainage systems which comply with the latest amendments to the Building Codes, in the construction of all styles of straw bale homes for our clients peace of mind.
This combined knowledge helps create a focused approach when it comes to applying for the eventual building consents required from the various local body authorities, because as yet there are no NZ Standards for straw bale construction.
